On June 26, 2025, the International Transport Development Association team successfully completed their annual doctoral progress review at Riga Technical University.
Deniss Bickovs, CEO of ITDA and 3rd-year doctoral student, presented the results of his promotional work titled “Port digitization in the development of future processes”, which is now 75% complete.
Ieva Demjanenko, Assistant Project Manager and 4th-year doctoral student, shared that her dissertation “Improvement of ship wastewater treatment and control systems” is 95% complete and will soon be ready for pre-defense.
Veranika Khlud, Assistant Project Manager and 2nd-year doctoral student, submitted her annual report and shared progress on her research “Integration of digital technologies and automation in the logistics management of the Freeport of Riga: assessment of the impact on efficiency and sustainability”, which is currently 35% complete.
