ITDA at Kurzemes Business Forum 2025

On May 28, the International Transport Development Association (ITDA) participated in the Kurzemes Business Forum 2025, titled “MI – 4. industriālā revolūcija” (Artificial Intelligence – The Fourth Industrial Revolution).

Deniss Bickovs, CEO of ITDA, delivered a presentation focused on the integration of artificial intelligence in transport and port systems, highlighting practical applications and future development scenarios in the maritime sector.

As part of the event, ITDA also hosted a focused workshop in collaboration with Ainārs Austrums, Port Captain at the Freeport of Ventspils, and Ingūna Jurgelāne-Kaldava, Associate Professor at Riga Technical University. The workshop addressed current digitalization trends in maritime transport, with particular attention to CO₂ emissions control in the Freeport of Riga, carried out under the ongoing Sustainable Flow project.

ITDA extends its appreciation to the forum organizers for the opportunity to actively contribute to this forward-looking and impactful event.
