HR Line EU and ITDA Participate in Development Cooperation Grant Competition

HR Line EU and the International Transport Development Association (ITDA) were honored to take part in the 2025 Development Cooperation Grant Project Competition organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. Our joint initiative, Digital Bridge Latvia – Uzbekistan: Education, Innovation and Sustainable Development, was submitted as a proposal aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation through education, digitalization, and public sector modernization.

Although the project was not selected among the winners this year, we remain fully committed to its objectives and plan to implement its key components with the support of our partners.

The initiative focuses on the following priorities:

  • Enhancing the qualifications of university faculty and public sector experts in Uzbekistan in engineering, skilled trades, digital competencies, and artificial intelligence.

  • Establishing a training center and launching the LATEDU Networking platform to promote sustainable academic and professional collaboration between Latvian and Uzbek higher education institutions.

  • Developing an AI-powered chatbot to provide 24/7 legal and migration support to Uzbek citizens in Latvia.

  • Expanding access to technical and vocational education for women and girls in Uzbekistan’s regions.

  • Promoting digital transformation and modernization in the public sector through training programs on AI, cybersecurity, and sustainability.

We sincerely thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia for the opportunity to participate in this competition and encourage others to explore the selected projects and engage in future calls.
