In July 2025, the ITDA team (International Transport Development Association, Latvia) organized and hosted a three-day visit of colleagues from the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) and other organizations in Riga.
On July 12, 2025, the International Transport Development Association (ITDA) had the honour of joining the Zvejnieksvētki (Fishermen’s Festival) celebration organized by the Latvian Maritime Union. The event took place aboard the ship Vecrīga with a scenic cruise along the Daugava River.

On June 19, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the Port of Hamburg between Latvian and German partners, aiming to jointly advance digital solutions in port infrastructure, connectivity, and cybersecurity.
On June 12, the International Transport Development Association (ITDA) had the pleasure of attending the Team Finland Garden Party, organized by the Embassy of Finland in Riga in cooperation with the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia.
On June 11, the final session of the 9-month training program “Digital Transformation Project Management” took place as part of Latvia’s Public Sector Digital Academy, organized by the Latvian School of Public Administration.
