Job description
We are looking for qualified welders to join shipbuilding and metal construction projects in Lithuania. You will be responsible for performing various types of MIG/MAG welding using both flux-cored and solid wires. The work includes welding with ceramic backing, gouging with carbon electrodes, and maintaining welding quality standards in line with technical documentation.
- Perform MIG/MAG welding (135/136) with flux-cored and copper-coated solid wires
- Weld using ceramic backing and carry out air arc gouging (carbon electrodes)
- Prepare and clean surfaces before welding
- Inspect welds and perform corrections if necessary
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
- Work in a team on shipbuilding and metal structure production sites
- Follow safety and quality procedures at all times
Experience & Qualifications
- Type: Full-time, permanent
- Working hours: 50–63 hours/week
- Net salary: €12–€13/hour (after tax)
- Gross salary: €14.91–€16.15/hour
- Probation period: 4 months (fully paid)
- Bonuses: Based on seniority and performance
