Job description
We are currently hiring experienced pipe welders (PIG welders) to work on complex shipbuilding and industrial piping projects in Lithuania. The role involves welding pipes with full penetration, following technical specifications and high-quality standards. Candidates must be skilled in MIG/MAG, TIG, or similar methods and capable of preparing and aligning pipe joints before welding.
- Perform high-quality welding of industrial pipelines with full penetration
- Use different welding methods (MIG/MAG, TIG) depending on project requirements
- Prepare, align, and secure pipe edges prior to welding
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
- Ensure weld quality, inspect for defects, and perform necessary corrections
- Work closely with pipefitters and quality control personnel
- Follow all safety and technical standards
Experience & Qualifications
- Type: Full-time, permanent
- Working hours: 50–63 hours/week
- Net salary: €12–€13/hour (after tax)
- Gross salary: €14.91–€16.15/hour
- Probation period: 4 months (fully paid)
- Bonuses: Based on seniority and performance
