Hands-on management consultancy for Ports and Terminals:

1. Feasibility studies, business plans, cost and revenue studies.

2. Design: layout, processes, IT and Technology (Gate Systems, Position Detection systems, RFID), Equipment, organisational structure.

3. Procurement: Terminal Operating Systems, Port Community systems, technology, equipment, services, Conducting the entire procurement process: RFI, RFP, vendor negotiation, maintenance contracts, SLA's

4. Implementation: project management, project supervision, acceptance testing, Commissioning.

5. Operations: supervision of go-live, assistance during go-live, process implementation.

6. Monitoring and auditing: process and infrastructure monitoring, definition of KPI monitoring systems, IT security, certification audits (e.g. AEO...), Safety, security and quality audits and practical advice.

MCS & CSCP Peter Bresseleers, is a supply chain expert, having a successful track record in manufacturing & maritime/inland port related SC projects. He lead large projects covering distribution networks, terminal/warehousing, IT selections, organisational set up of SC, assisted in mergers & acquisitions.

Peter combines strategic thinking and a hands-on approach. Perceived as an experienced, diplomatic & flexible person, he performs excellent in difficult situations.

Peter, hired by Capgemini Consulting as Sr. Managing Consultant was involved in the group’s global Port Community. He led SC projects at Bridgestone EU, Fiskars Int & Infrabel.

The Walloon cabinet of economy hired Peter to set out the regions’ sourcing and SC strategy for Südzucker AG bio-ethanol project ‘Biowanze’.

Peter, as General Manager of a stevedoring company, expanded the activities by attracting new markets, raising investments, introducing SLA’s.

Peters Cargill Europe decade included roles as Sr.Biz Analyst in an European ERP project, Merchant B2B Starch, Industry & Feed and Logistics Processing Manager Belgium. Peter also organised overseas import and EU – distribution activities for several manufacturers/trading companies of consumer electronics, fresh fruit & steel products.
