  • Management of MSD, EU negotiations process in Maritime Transport field,
    drafting or reviewing of bilateral agreements, interagency agreements,
    legislation, strategic papers, project proposals, technical papers etc;
  • Responsible for international relations, searching and  securing of international funds for achieving
    MSD and Montenegro  goals on maritime
    safety marine environment protection issues;
  • Project manager for the second phase of approved EU IPA funded project:
    VTMIS (Vessel Traffic Monitoring Information System) phase II and National
    Maritime Single Window Implementation (NMSW) (2015 – 2023);
  • As a head of the Technical Maintenance unit in MSD I am responsible for
    all preventive and corrective maintenance for technical systems in MSD like
    VTMIS, GMDSS, AIS, VHF and IT (hardware and software). I do supervision and
    participate in elimination of major failures when needed;
  • Facilitating exchange and integration of VTMIS maritime data from
    various sensor to other national agencies
  • Representing Montenegro on meetings, conferences, assemblies at
    National, Regional, EU and International level for matters related to maritime
    safety IMO (International Maritime Organization), European Commission, EMSA
    (European Maritime Safety Agency), IMSO (International Mobile Satellite
    Organization), REMPEC (Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Response Centre for
    the Mediterranean);
  • National focal point for CleanSeaNet, EU LRIT DC, SafeSeaNet and NMSW;
  • Project coordinator for transnational EU funded project, MED Program:
    MEDESS-4MS (Mediterranean Decision Support System for Marine Safety) dedicated
    to the strengthening of maritime safety by mitigating the risks and impacts
    associated to oil spills;
